ALBANY, NY (05/28/2015)(readMedia)-- Camp CEO is a three day outdoor camp experience where high school girls and female executives come together in a blend of classic camp activities and professional development workshops. CEOs & girls will come together, trade in their iPad and smartphones for sunscreen and hiking boots in a truly unique adventure which they will never forget.
Camp CEO is on July 28th running through the 31st on the beautiful shores of Lake George at the Wiawaka Center for Women. The eleven CEOs participating this year are: Maggie Cahill, Executive Director, Capital Repertory Theatre, Devi Momot, CEO, Twinstate Technology, Kathleen Godfrey, CEO, Godfrey Financial, Carol Hyde Managing Partner, Iseman, Cunningham, Riester & Hyde, LLP, Dr. Carolyn Stefanco, President, College of Saint Rose, Jennifer O Neal, Vicarious Visions, Executive Director, Annmarie Lanesey President, GreaneTree Technology, Janeen Uzell, Global Director External Affairs & Technology Programs, GE Global Research, Susan Waters, former Executive Director ,Habitat for Humanity, Stefanie Wiley, President Hoosick Valley Construction, and Mary Buszuwski CEO, Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York.
Camp CEO offers girls the opportunity to connect in a fun outdoor setting while gaining real advice and resources in how to succeed in the classroom, boardroom and beyond. "We are very excited to present this inaugural year of Camp CEO." said Mary Buszuwski, CEO of Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York. "We have a fantastic lineup of women and girls participating this year, and we believe strongly in the message of the power of girls & women together. It gives each CEO the opportunity to stay connected to her community, and each girl a meaningful mentor as they will work one on one with a CEO. Our CEOs know a helping hand up that ladder of success is important, and want to provide it the next generation. It will be an experience they won't ever forget."
