HOST SPEED MENTORING PROGRAM FOR HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS

ALBANY, NY (11/10/2015)(readMedia)-- Girls in grades 8-12 are invited to get insight into more than 25 careers through the Dare to Climb mentoring program to be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 9:30am to 11:30am at Sage College of Albany Campus Center. Women from a diversity of fields and organizations such as GE, Emma Willard, Time Warner Cable News, Skidmore College, Albany Medical Center, Key Bank, MVP and many more will be participating - the full list of mentors by name, title & organization is below.
This important program gives girls the opportunity to ask questions and hear the experiences and advice of some of the country's most successful women in health care, media, and business.
"Girls need to see other people, often people like them, succeeding at the type of thing they want to do. They need it for inspiration, leadership, paths to follow, and to help them believe that they can succeed," said, Mary Buszuwski, CEO of Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York."
"Dare to Climb gives young women in the 8th grade up that opportunity. With over 25 professional women, from lawyers, to scientists, doctors, and engineers, participants will all see one common trait: choice."
