Mayor Welcomes Zone 5 to downtown
ALBANY, NY (01/25/2008)(readMedia)-- Zone 5, an award winning communications agency hosted an open house on January 22 to celebrate its new downtown Albany headquarters. Michael Yevoli, President of the Local Albany Development Corporation (ALDC) was on hand to welcome Zone 5 to its new location at 25 Monroe Street.
“We are excited to bring our company and talents to downtown Albany,” said Todd Mosher, President and CEO of Zone 5. “The Albany business community has become energized and we felt it was the perfect time to lead the way in bringing the creative class to downtown.”

I welcome their communications and marketing expertise as we witness the continued renaissance of our beautiful downtown area," said Albany Mayor Jerry Jennings.
In coordination with the building dedication, Zone 5 formally announced the establishment of a Public Affairs and Public Relations division. John D’Alessandro has been named Vice President of Public Affairs and tasked with growing the division. D’Alessandro has more than 30 years of hands-on experience providing counsel to some of the regions most respected companies and developing outreach strategies for numerous high profile projects. Eric Wohlleber, former broadcast reporter and producer, was also added to the Division’s talent pool as Public Relations Senior Account Executive. Mr. Wohlleber has extensive experience in media and government relations and has worked with many regional not-for-profit organizations.
Zone 5 President Todd Mosher has been integrally involved in the defining and establishing of New York State’s Tech Valley. Mosher’s worldwide travels to thriving technology regions solidified his belief that business success results from placing talented employees in stimulating workspaces and then giving them the freedom to create. “This project enabled me to bring 30 exceptionally talented people to a stimulating downtown workspace. As our company continues to grow our location and workspace will be a magnet to attract the best creative talent available” said Mosher.
3tArchitects transformed the 30,000 square foot former manufacturing space for partners Cass Hill Development and Zone 5. Albany-based 3t has been involved in several revitalization projects around Tech Valley and has an impressive portfolio of projects in Downtown Albany. Cass Hill President Marc Paquin said the completion of 25 Monroe Street is central to his overall vision of a transformed business district. “3t understands how to pull off tastefully edgy,” said Paquin. “This was the perfect fit for a company of Zone 5’s caliber.”
Zone 5 is a full service communications agency providing marketing, public relations, new media and strategic branding counsel and services to top regional and national entities. The company was started in 1989 to serve the needs of the printing industry and has grown to include expertise in the areas of health care, higher education, financial services, economic development and technology / manufacturing (with a focus on the semiconductor, nanotechnology, sustainable energy and cleantech industries).
