DC National Guard recognizes outstanding Soldiers, Airmen and DC Councilmember Cheh

Annual Awards and Decorations ceremony set for 9 a.m. Sunday

WASHINGTON, DC (12/03/2010)(readMedia)-- The D.C. National Guard will recognize the outstanding service of its Soldiers and Airmen during its annual Awards and Decorations Ceremony at the D.C. National Guard Armory at 9 a.m. Sunday morning. The media is invited to attend.

D.C. Councilwoman Mary Cheh will be recognized during the event.

More than 1,500 people are expected to attend the ceremony, including Soldiers and Airmen who have recently returned from serving in Iraq.
