BOSTON, MA (01/10/2012)(readMedia)-- New Haven, CT native and Fisher College forward Dennis Norford has been chosen as the American Mideast Conference Player of the Week in men's basketball for his stellar performances this season.
On the season, Norford is all over the national rankings, currently ranked 1st in the NAIA Division II with 210 total rebounds. His 11.667 rebounds per game ranks him 3rd nationally.
Norford, a 6-foot-4 senior, is a 2008 graduate of Wilbur Cross High School in New Haven and is currently a Business major at Fisher College in Boston, MA.
