Congresswomen Eleanor Holmes Norton and Mayor Vincent Gray slated to attend Send-off
WASHINGTON, DC (12/30/2011)(readMedia)-- Celebratory send-Off for soldiers headed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom planned for January 5, 2012 at 10am in the DC Armory. Congresswomen Eleanor Holmes Norton and Mayor Vincent Gray are scheduled to speak at the event, hosted by Brig. Gen. Arthur Hinaman. Media and the public are invited to attend.
