WHAT: | The Downtown Albany BID, in partnership with the Center for Economic Growth (CEG), is hosting a forum to share updates on regional technology projects like Global Foundries that are having a major impact on the Region. The purpose of the forum is to provide an overview on regional development projects, as well as help address the questions downtown businesses have about what effect these projects will have on an urban area, like Downtown Albany. Additionally, information regarding the expectations of the companies and workforce associated with these projects, as well as how professional service firms, property and business owners and commercial brokers can be proactive in their outreach efforts to the industry will also be discussed.
