Downtown Albany Bid Approves New Directors, Officers

ALBANY, NY (08/18/2009)(readMedia)-- The Board of Directors of the Downtown Albany Business Improvement District (BID) recently approved new officers for the 2009-2010 year. Current board member, I. David Swawite (Omni Development Company, Inc.), was appointed Secretary of the Executive Committee, joining officers continuing their terms: Tracy Metzger (TL Metzger & Associates) - Chair, John Graziano, Sr. - Vice Chair, and Marc Paquin (Cass Hill Development Company) - Treasurer.

The membership also elected new directors of the Downtown Albany BID: Robert Amore (Amore Clothing) and Mark Holtzman (KPMG LLP). Sara Stein (EYP) has also been appointed as a resident representative on the Board. Each new director has an initial term of three years. Jack Yonally (B. Lodge & Company) and Tom Birdsey (EYP) completed their terms as directors this past year.
