Duroc Champions Named at State Fair

DES MOINES, IA (09/10/2009)(readMedia)-- Joe Eggers of State Center exhibited the Champion Boar in the Duroc Swine Show August 20, at the 2009 Iowa State Fair. Reserve Champion honors went to Dan Burzlaff of Delmar.

VB Genetics of Cedar captured the Champion Gilt banner while Stewarts Duroc Farm of Waverly claimed the Reserve Champion Gilt honors.

David Martin of Marion was awarded Premier Exhibitor honors. The award is presented to the exhibitor earning the highest point total in individual breeding classes of competition.
