ST. PAUL, MN (05/07/2012)(readMedia)-- Concordia University, St. Paul student Sue Her Xiong of Eau Claire, Wisc., will give the farewell address to her fellow graduates during the university's graduate programs commencement ceremony May 12, 2012 in the Gangelhoff Center on the Concordia campus. Xiong is graduating with her master's degree in Christian Outreach.
Born in Laos, Xiong lived in a Thailand refugee camp for ten years before she moved to Wisconsin in 1992. Married with four children, she currently resides in St. Louis, where her husband is a first-year seminary student at Concordia Seminary. Xiong received her bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2005.
