CLEARWATER, FL (09/22/2010)(readMedia)-- Clearwater Christian College women's volleyball player Emma Kile of Butler was named the National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association (NCCAA) Player of the Week for the week of September 6-12, 2010. Emma is a 2008 graduate of Calvary Academy and the daughter of Jerry and Eileen Kile.
According to the NCCAA website, "Emma Kile, junior middle hitter for Clearwater Christian College (FL), had an outstanding week, helping Clearwater to a 6-0 record for the week. Competing against some solid teams, Emma led the Cougars in hitting at 36% with over 4.5 kills per game and averaged four digs and 1 block per game. Emma also leads the team evangelistic outreach when they play secular colleges, and conducts in the beach outreach on Wednesday nights."
