FFA Techies Strut their Mechanical Stuff at Iowa State Fair Contest

Matt Swalin of Laurens earned the prestigious Best Safety Award in the FFA Ag Mechanics competition judged Friday, August 13, at the 2010 Iowa State Fair.

Barrent Carlson of Stratford received Reserve honors.

Entries were judged on the basis of workmanship, design, usefulness, appearance and safety. Winning entries will be on display outside the FFA Display Building throughout the Fair.
