Five Capital Region High School Players Nominated to McDonald's All American Basketball Team
Recognition ceremonies planned at home games in the Capital Region
ALBANY, NY (02/04/2010)(readMedia)-- WHAT: McDonald's Owner Operators of the Capital Region will make a presentation to the 2010 All American High School Basketball Team nominees at final home games.
This year marks the 33rd Anniversary of the Boys Game. McDonald's All American games have become a highlight of high school basketball, honoring the best of the best. One thousand nominees will be competing to fill positions at the final game on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 in Columbus Ohio.
WHO: Nominees from the Capital Region are:
Christopher Antonez, Burr and Burton Academy, Manchester VT
Kameron Ritter, Christian Brothers Academy, Albany, NY
Nolan Hart, The Albany Academies, Albany, NY
Jerel Scott, Bishop Maginn High School, Albany, NY
Kyle Callanan, Mount Anthony Union High School, Bennington, VT
WHEN/WHERE: Presentations will be made prior to final home games as follows:
Antonez: Burr and Burton Academy Thursday, February 11, 7:30 pm.
Ritter: Christian Brothers Academy Friday, February 12, 7:30 pm.
Hart: The Albany Academies Saturday, February 13, 1:30 pm
Scott: Bishop Maginn High School Tuesday, February 16, 7:30 pm
Callanan: Mount Anthony Union HS Friday, February 19, 7:30 pm
