Flash Mob Celebrates 100 Years of Girl Scouting

PLATTSBURGH, NY (11/29/2012)(readMedia)-- Girl Scouts in grades K-12 will participate in a Flash Mob dance in the food court at Champlain Centre to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouts. Girl Scouts have long used songs to celebrate friendship and express their commitment to providing girls the opportunity to reach their full leadership potential through the premier leadership development organization for girls.

WHAT:

Girl Scouts will present a flash mob dance set to the Girl Scouts 100th anniversary song, "IGNITE", by Melinda Caroll. It represents a public celebration of 100 years of Girl Scouting and kick-off to the new and familiar opportunities for girls to participate in Girl Scouts.
