The winners will be honored at an awards presentation on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton.

The criteria used to determine the winners of GBC’s Safety Excellence Award exceed industry standards, and include, among other requirements, a workers’ comp experience modification rate of 1.0 or less, the company’s five-year OSHA 200 history, and random jobsite inspections used to gauge the effectiveness of the company’s safety program.

The GBC safety awards program recognizes and honors those companies who, year after year, consistently maintain safe working conditions on their jobsites, while continually striving to improve upon their safety programs.
