Girl Scout Cookie Season Ends Soon

ALBANY, NY (03/21/2012)(readMedia)-- If your Girl Scout cookie supply has run low, there is still time to stock up for the year. Girl Scout cookie booths are located around the 15 counties served by Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York until April 1, 2012. Use the cookie locator at GSNENY.org or download the Girl Scout Cookie Locator app for your smart phone to find the location of a booth near you. Cookie booth sales help to reinforce the 5 skills girls develop through the Girl Scout product sales programs: Goal Setting, Decision Making, Money Management, People Skills, and Business Ethics. In addition to filling up the freezer at home with favorite varieties, cookie buyers also have the opportunity to donate cookies to the Gifts of Caring program which go to local churches and soldiers serving our country.

The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest girl-led business in the country and generates immeasurable benefits for girls, their councils and communities nationwide. Girls set cookie goals to support their chosen activities for the year, to fund community service and leadership projects, to attend summer camp, to travel to destinations near and far and to provide events for girls in their community.
