Girl Scout Day at the NYS Capitol

ALBANY, NY (05/06/2014)(readMedia)-- 75 girls from Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York in grades 2-5 will spend the day learning about how the NYS legislature works, how a bill becomes a law, touring the Capitol and senate and assembly galleries, and meeting with local officials.

9:30am: The road from bill to law: Catherine Fahey,Chief of Staff, Representative Fahy

10:00am: NYS Capital Building Tour

11:00am: Visit in Senate and Assembly Galleries

12:00pm: Lunch

1:00pm: Meet and greets with local officials

2:30pm: Group photo-Million Dollar Staircase
