HALFMOON, NY (05/03/2007)(readMedia)-- The New York Capital Region chapter of the American Marketing Association will host a luncheon event with guest speaker Mr. George Silverman who will discuss how to harness the often-underestimated power of word-of-mouth marketing at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at Wolferts Roost Country Club on Van Rensselaer Blvd. in Albany.
Mr. Silverman, author of the book "The Secrets of Word-of-Mouth Marketing: How to Trigger Exponential Sales Through Runaway Word of Mouth", draws upon 30 years of experience consulting on successful word-of-mouth campaigns for his own clients. Mr. Silverman will show what a word-of-mouth campaign looks like, and how to construct a word of mouth campaign to help your customers sail through the decision process at warp speed.
