Goldstein Auto Group Helps Man's Best Friends

ALBANY, NY (09/24/2011)(readMedia)-- The folks at Goldstein recently presented a new van to the Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society. The van will visit off-site adoption clinics, vaccination clinics and other local events, bringing much needed public exposure to the organization that works tirelessly to care for abused and homeless animals.

The Goldstein Auto Group family are committed to helping in their community and upon hearing that the Society was desperately in need of a new van, the wheels were set in motion. In August, the van, freshly painted with the Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society's name, phone number and web site, was received by the grateful new owners. Along with the vehicle the Goldstein Auto Group family donated a "lifetime" of service and car washes to further help maintain the cause. Says the family, "So many of our customers have pets, our employees have pets and we have pets. It was a natural fit to tie this gift in with our ongoing campaign and focus of "Giving Back and Loving it!" say Alan Goldstein and his kids, Stefanie and Greg, who together run the day to day management of the company. "We plan to grow the relationships we have with rescue groups and soon will be hosting adoption clinics in most of our dealerships as another way to help provide care and love to pets in need."
