ALBANY, NY (01/26/2012)(readMedia)-- Goldstein Subaru, 1754 Central Avenue in Albany, will host a Mohawk Hudson Humane Society adoption clinic on Saturday, January 28 from 10AM to 2PM. The Society will have a variety of cats and dogs available at the clinic.

Every cat and dog available for adoption has been spayed or neutered, de-wormed, treated with flea and tick preventative and has received age-appropriate distemper and rabies vaccinations. Dogs have been tested for heartworm and cats for feline leukemia. All animals go home with 30 days of pet insurance and a free bag of Hill's Science Diet pet food.

Executive Director Brad Shear commented, "We are delighted to have the Goldstein Family Auto Group Family as partners, especially since we are celebrating our 125th anniversary. This is just the first adoption clinic they will be hosting for us this year and a great way to raise awareness about our organization and the wonderful animals that are ready for new homes. We have plans to collaborate on several other projects throughout the year that will benefit our animals."

The public responded despite the forecast for inclement weather and several animals found homes that day; others were adopted in the weeks that followed. In 2012, we will host a monthly off-site adoption clinic at one of our locations," said the Goldstein Family. They added, "We will work with the Humane Society all year long to help spread the word through the community and use our locations to see people who might not get to the facility in Menands."
