Hodge Named to Lung Association Board

COLUMBUS OH (10/11/2011)(readMedia)-- Sandra L. Hodge, Oberlin, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the American Lung Association of the Midland States. Based in Columbus, ALAMS provides programs and services to the residents of Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, and Tennessee.
Hodge is Special Assistant for Community & Government Relations for Oberlin College and is also president & CEO of Hodge Enterprises, a private consulting firm. She holds an executive MBA and masters in urban studies, from Cleveland State University and Northeastern Illinois University. She has a bachelor of science with majors in education, guidance and counseling from Concordia University.
The mission of the American Lung Association is to save lives through the prevention of lung disease and lung health. Originally founded in the early 1900's to fight tuberculosis, the association now is actively involved with a variety of lung health issues working through research, advocacy, and education initiatives.
