Jamie Archer has been awarded the 2013 Jennifer Frey Memorial Scholarship

MONTPELIER, VT (12/21/2012)(readMedia)-- The Community College of Vermont has awarded the 2013 Jennifer Frey Memorial Scholarship to Jamie Archer of Wolcott, Vermont.

The Frey Scholars at CCV are chosen from the Montpelier and Morrisville areas to receive direct support for tuition and other expenses. The scholarship is funded through an endowed scholarship that was created in memory of Jennifer Frey who graduated from CCV in 1997. Jennifer's parents, Bob and Lois Frey created this endowed fund at CCV, and the fund has received support from many donors who knew and loved Jenny.

Jamie is currently studying business and plans to open a diner in the future. As a new Frey Scholar, she will receive this scholarship each semester until she completes her associate degree.
