PHILADELPHIA, PA (02/16/2011)(readMedia)-- Julianne Cody, MSN, RN, BA, a Royersford resident and Instructor at Thomas Jefferson University's School of Nursing, received a $905.25 grant for the project, "Clearing the Medication Documentation Hurdle in Residential Housing" from the Jefferson Center for InterProfessional Education in December 2010. Project team members include Havah Hackman, BSW, Case Manager; Monica McCurdy, PA-C; Rohit Moghe, PharmD; Harry Shallcross, PhD; Lara Weinstein, MD; and Joe Williams, Program Manager. The interprofessional team is working with and Project H.O.M.E. staff to ensure quality and safety in medication management at St. Elizabeth's Recovery Residence, a residential housing facility for formerly homeless men living in recovery. Project H.O.M.E. is a non-profit organization that provides housing, opportunities for employment, medical care, and education to empower people to attain their fullest potential as members of society.
