PHILADELPHIA, PA (04/13/2011)(readMedia)-- Elizabeth Speakman, EdD, RN, CDE, ANEF, Associate Professor, Associate Dean, Student Affairs, Jefferson School of Nursing at Thomas Jefferson University, resident of Cherry Hill, NJ, originally from Brooklyn, NY, had two collaborative podium presentations accepted to the NLN Educational Summit 2011 to be held in Orlando, Florida, in September.
The first, "Out with articulation agreements, in with dual admission agreements: True academic progression for RNs - looking at the margins to define the whole," was done in collaboration with Mary G. Schaal, EdD, RN, Dean and Professor, Jefferson School of Nursing; and Elizabeth J. Forbes, EdD, RN, FAAN, and Patricia Nelson, EdD, RN, from Roxborough School of Nursing.
Speakman also collaborated with JSN instructors Susan Egger, MSN, RN, and Karen Papastrat, MSN, RN; Assistant Professor Cecilia Borden, EdD, MSN, RN; Assistant Dean of ASN, RN, FACT Programs Mary E. Hanson-Zalot, RN, MSN, AOCN; and Frances Amorim, MSN, RN and Christine Muldoon, MSN, RN of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital on the presentation, "Defining Quality Clinical Education within the Context of Prelicensure Nursing Education."
