John DeCelle Honored With Marketer of Excellence Award
ALBANY, NY (05/24/2011)(readMedia)-- The New York Capital Region chapter of the American Marketing Association is pleased to announce John DeCelle as this year's recipient of the Marketer of Excellence Award. DeCelle will receive his award during the 17th Annual Mark of Excellence Awards on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at the downtown Albany Crowne Plaza on State and Lodge Streets.
DeCelle is the Chief Marketing Officer for SEFCU. In this position, he provides management and strategic direction of SEFCU's marketing, e-Commerce, business development, public relations, and sales-through-service efforts. He oversees the brand's TV, radio, print, online, outdoor, in-branch and member communications.
Prior to joining SEFCU in 2005, DeCelle held various key roles at ALBANK and Fleet Financial Group in New York's Capital Region, MountainOne Financial Partners in the Berkshires of Massachusetts, and at Media Logic in Albany. Among his 20+ years of experience includes consumer and business-to-business marketing, sales, product development, and public relations in the financial services, healthcare, higher education, and retail industries.
