Joseph White Commissioned 2nd Lt in the US Army

CLEARWATER, FL (05/16/2013)(readMedia)-- Joseph White of Bayonne, NJ, was commissioned as a 2nd Lt in the United States Army in a ceremony held at the Joint Military Science Leadership Center on the campus of the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL on Friday, May 3, 2013. White, who graduated from Clearwater Christian College in Clearwater, FL, on May 4, 2013, with a degree in General Studies, was a member of the Suncoast Battalion located on the campus of the University of South Tampa in Tampa.  For 2012-2013,

2nd Lt. White was recognized as the CCC Cadet of the Year and an Army ROTC Distinguished Military Graduate, received a West Point Society Leadership Award, and was a member of Who's Who. Assigned to active Infantry, he will report to Fort Benning in Georgia. 

White is the son of John and Eileen White, residents of Bayonne, NJ.
