CLIFTON PARK, NY (03/30/2009)(readMedia)-- Judi Clements Training & Development has developed an interactive workshop for helping managers work more effectively with their staff during times of dramatic change.
Recently, Clements brought this workshop, "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow! Helping Employees Manage Change" to the managers and staff at Fedcap in New York City.
Fedcap's mission is to help disabled people with barriers to employment to achieve independence and full participation in the economic mainstream. Fedcap provides training, job placement, and employment opportunities to hundreds of disabled New Yorkers each year. Fedcap's managers oversee these programs and manage a staff of more than 600 people.
According to Clements, "Fedcap was looking for a way to help their managers anticipate the roller coaster of emotions that employees go through when dealing with uprooting change. My program addresses these issues in a relaxed format that encourages discussion and self discovery. Managers are relieved to find out that negativity and resistance are a normal part of the change cycle and can be reversed with the proper coaching."
Clements will also be delivering this workshop in April and May at three different locations around the state for the New York Industries for the Disabled (NYSID), headquartered in Albany, NY. NYSID regularly engages Judi Clements Training and Development's training services for offering a variety of management development topics to their members throughout New York State.
As president of Clifton-Park based Judi Clements Training & Development, Clements delivers corporate training and keynote speeches in the areas of supervision, communication, wellness, & customer service. Her programs are known for their interactivity; trainees stay engaged through discussion, case studies, simulations, & role plays. She can be reached at 518-371-9184 http//www.judiclements.com
