WHAT: Historic single-night fundraising effort in McDonald's Restaurants in the Capital Region. Twenty percent of all sales from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at 73 restaurants will be donated to participating schools in the region.
WHO: Local public, private and charter school teachers, administrators, students and families, Ronald McDonald and McDonald's owners, managers and employees
WHEN: Wednesday, April 2, 2008, 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.
WHERE: McDonalds Restaurants in the Capital Region
WHY: McTeacher's Night is a successful fundraising event for schools in other parts of the nation. While the McDonald's restaurants in the Capital Region regularly sponsor school nights to raise funds for local schools, they are launching this one-night/Co-op- wide event in the region to raise additional funds for education.
