Kids, Teachers, Parents and Principals Raising Funds for Schools at McTeacher's Night
One-night fundraising event on April 7th throughout Capital Region
ALBANY, NY (03/23/2009)(readMedia)-- WHAT: A unique single-night fundraising effort in McDonald's Restaurants in the Capital Region. Twenty percent of all sales from 4:30 - 6:30 pm at the restaurants will be donated to participating schools.
WHO: Local public, private and charter school teachers, administrators, students and families, Ronald McDonald and McDonald's owners, managers and employees
WHEN: Tuesday, April 7, 2009

WHERE: McDonalds Restaurants throughout the Capital Region
WHY: McTeacher's Night launched in the Capital Region in 2008, and was a successful fundraising event for area schools. Given the strain on school budgets, area McDonald's restaurants are making every effort in this second year of McTeacher's Night to assure that this one-night event will raise much-needed additional funds for education.
