Kristin McGilligan of St. Louis to sing in Beloit College's Evening on Broadway

BELOIT, WI (12/15/2011)(readMedia)-- Kristin McGilligan of St. Louis will sing in Beloit College's "Evening on Broadway" concert tonight (Wed. Dec. 14) in Pearsons Hall. McGilligan is a senior and a graduate of Lindbergh High School. She is the daughter of Michael and Sharon McGilligan.

The Evening on Broadway concert features musical theatre hits from well-loved classic shows as well as contemporary pieces. The cabaret-style performance showcases the talents of the college's vocal students who will be accompanied by student and faculty pianists. Professor Emerita Eudora Shepherd, who began the Evening on Broadway tradition, continues to organize the concert.

McGilligan will sing "Someone To Watch Over Me" from 1926's "Oh, Kay."
