Rev. Tara Beth Leach is senior pastor at Pasadena First Church of the Nazarene (PazNaz) in California, and a graduate of Olivet. In 2017, Intervarsity Press released her book, Emboldened: A Vision for Empowering Women in Ministry.
She enjoys training for triathlons, going to the gym, a good theological conversation over coffee, and a random girls-night-out. She and her husband, Jeff, are the parents of two sons.
"This is why I write, this is why I teach, this is why I blog. I am in love with the church," Leach said. "If I can just be one encourager that uses my voice - through the Spirit - to edify the body of Christ, I will do it until the day I die."
Julianna Zobrist is a speaker, author and singer. Growing up in Iowa, she was raised on classical music and farm-grown corn. She and her husband, Ben Zobrist of the Chicago Cubs, co-authored (with Mike Yorkey) Doubleplay: Faith and Family First, their book released in 2014. Featured by top media worldwide, she has appeared on Forbes, ABC News, Huffington Post, CBS, FOX News, and Sports Illustrated, among others. She and Ben are the parents of three children.
"My message and music are for anyone who wants to express the joy and freedom of knowing that Christ gives them the strength to be bold, fearless and confidently vulnerable," Zobrist said.
Ellie Holcomb is a singer/songwriter who performs at conferences and venues across the country. Since the 2014 release of her full-length solo debut, "As Sure As the Sun," she has been walking an unexpected path, one of suffering and loss, but also peace and joy. She has come to the edge of the rushing river of confusion and experienced a God who made a way where there seemed to be no way. From that place - of finding God in the dark and unexpected - Holcomb wrote and recorded "Red Sea Road," released in 2017.
"I'm surprised and delighted to say that God is faithful," Holcomb said. "I know that's true more than I did a year or two ago."
She and her husband, Drew, are the parents of two children. Her father is Grammy-award winning music producer Brown Bannister.
