SPRINGFIELD, IL (01/12/2011)(readMedia)-- The Lincoln's ChalleNGe Academy color guard team posted the American and Illinois flag at the swearing in of the Illinois State Senate Jan. 12 in the Senate Chambers at the Illinois State Capitol Building in Springfield.

Lincoln's ChalleNGe Academy is a military structured alternative school for Illinois' at risk youth operated by the Illinois National Guard. Lincoln's ChalleNGe is part of the National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Program. More than $38 million dollars has been appropriated to build a new campus for the academy's program in Rantoul.
