Linville Signs Letter of Intent with Clearwater Christian College

CLEARWATER, FL (04/16/2013)(readMedia)-- St. John Lutheran School senior Hallie Linville signed a letter of intent to attend Clearwater Christian College and to play basketball for the Lady Cougars at a ceremony held on campus in Clearwater, FL on Friday, April 12. During her senior year at St. John Lutheran, Linville averaged 11 points per game and saw the Lady Saints fall in regional finals to the eventual state champions. Hallie is the daughter of Scott and Jennifer Stewart of Ocala and she plans to study Pre-Physical Therapy while at Clearwater Christian College.

In his comments regarding Hallie, CCC Coach Anthony Wilson said "Hallie brings welcomed length and athleticism to our team. She will create a lot of mismatches because of her ability to shoot from the perimeter or put the ball on the floor and get to the rim. I'm glad that the Lord connected Hallie with CCC, and I am excited to watch her grow in her walk with Christ."

Clearwater Christian College is a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) and participates in Division II competition.
