Local Man Finishes Handwritten Bible This Weekend

This Is the End of Phillip Patterson's Six Year Journey That Transcended the 788,280 Words Within the Bible.

SPENCERTOWN, NY (05/08/2013)(readMedia)-- Columbia County man finishes writing the entire King James Bible by hand.

WHO:

Family, friends, and the public will join Phillip Patterson as he writes the last words of his handwritten bible in a historic Columbia County church. 

WHAT:

Phillip Patterson of Columbia County, NY began hand-writing the entire King James 1611 version of the bible with the simple desire to know what was in it. Nearly six years later he'll finish it surrounded by family, friends, and the public. His life is his art and Laura Glazer, a friend of Phillip's, has been photographing both since she met him in 2009 in a doctor's office where Phillip is a patient and Laura was working. A selection of her photos documenting this journey will be displayed.
