Local Student Amanda Hill of Armonk Earns Academic Recognition at Skidmore College
SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (06/28/2013)(readMedia)-- Amanda Hill, a member of the Class of 2013 at Skidmore College, earned academic recognition at the college this spring.
She is the daughter of Ellen and Gadi Hill of Armonk.
Hill earned a B.S. degree at Skidmore's 102nd commencement in May.
In addition, she received the Wall Street Journal Award, presented by the Department of Management and Business to a student whose outstanding academic achievement and intereste in applied management have been evident throughout her Skidmore career.
Founded in 1903, Skidmore College is a coeducational, liberal arts college with an enrollment of approximately 2,200 students. The college grants the bachelor's degree in some 60 majors, including both traditional liberal arts disciplines and preprofessional programs. Skidmore also awards the master of arts in liberal studies degree.
