Local Student Evan Krasner of Hillsdale Earns Earns Academic Recognition at Skidmore College

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (07/02/2013)(readMedia)-- Evan Krasner, a member of the Class of 2013 at Skidmore College, earned academic recognition at the college this spring.

He is the son of Hilah Iaulus and Jeff Krasner of Hillsdale.

Krasner earned a B.A. degree at Skidmore's 102nd commencement in May. In addition, he received the American Studies Faculty Award, awarded to a graduating senior for academic excellence and growth in the major. During his Skidmore career he also received support from the Joanna Schneider Zangrando Fund, named in honor of a retired American studies faculty member and established to support projects in American studies as well as women's studies.

Founded in 1903, Skidmore College is a coeducational, liberal arts college with an enrollment of approximately 2,400 students. The college grants the bachelor's degree in some 60 majors, including both traditional liberal arts disciplines and preprofessional programs. Skidmore also awards the master of arts in liberal studies degree.
