Local Student Catherine Chang of Atlanta Earns Academic Recognition at Skidmore College

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (07/01/2013)(readMedia)-- Catherine Chang, a member of the Class of 2013 at Skidmore College, earned academic recognition at the college this spring.

She is the daughter of Sarah and Spencer Chang of Atlanta.

Chang earned a B.S. degree summa cum laude with honor in business at Skidmore's 102nd commencement in May. In addition, she received two academic awards: the Jefferson Huff '88 Prize in Business, named in honor of a graduate and awarded to a business student who has a distinguished academic record and has produced an outstanding project in business; and the Seymour and Sylvia Goldman Memorial Prize, awarded annually to an outstanding senior in the Department of Management and Business.

Founded in 1903, Skidmore College is a coeducational, liberal arts college with an enrollment of approximately 2,400 students. The college grants the bachelor's degree in some 60 majors, including both traditional liberal arts disciplines and preprofessional programs. Skidmore also awards the master of arts in liberal studies degree
