Local Student Catherine Chang of Atlanta Earns Academic Recognition at Skidmore College
SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (07/01/2013)(readMedia)-- Catherine Chang, a member of the Class of 2013 at Skidmore College, earned academic recognition at the college this spring.
She is the daughter of Sarah and Spencer Chang of Atlanta.
Chang earned a B.S. degree summa cum laude with honor in business at Skidmore's 102nd commencement in May. In addition, she received two academic awards: the Jefferson Huff '88 Prize in Business, named in honor of a graduate and awarded to a business student who has a distinguished academic record and has produced an outstanding project in business; and the Seymour and Sylvia Goldman Memorial Prize, awarded annually to an outstanding senior in the Department of Management and Business.
Founded in 1903, Skidmore College is a coeducational, liberal arts college with an enrollment of approximately 2,400 students. The college grants the bachelor's degree in some 60 majors, including both traditional liberal arts disciplines and preprofessional programs.
