Local Student Christopher Keyser Earns Academic Recognition at Skidmore College

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (07/01/2010)(readMedia)-- Christopher Keyser, a member of the Class of 2010 at Skidmore College, earned academic recognition at the college this spring.

He is the son of Joseph Keyser of Cohoes and Kathy Keyser of Cropseyville.

Keyser earned a B.A. degree cum laude with honor in English at Skidmore's 99th commencement in May. In addition, he received the Sara Bennett '92 Prize for Fiction, named in memory of an alumna and presented annually to a student who has excelled in the writing of fiction.

Founded in 1903, Skidmore College is a coeducational, liberal arts college with an enrollment of approximately 2,400 students. The college grants the bachelor's degree in some 60 majors, including both traditional liberal arts disciplines and preprofessional programs. Skidmore also awards the master of arts in liberal studies degree.
