2010 Mark of Excellence Awards Allow Text Votes on Favorite Campaign

ALBANY, NY (09/30/2010)(readMedia)-- The New York Capital Region chapter of the American Marketing Association (NYCRAMA) and the Mark of Excellence Committee are excited to announce a new feature for MOE 2010: The People's Choice Award. For the first time in MOE history, the judges are giving the people a chance to vote – "American Idol" style.

A panel of national judges has narrowed down ten campaign finalists to choose four MOE winners. Winners will be announced at the Mark of Excellence Awards event on October 6, 2010. This year, vote for your favorite results-driven marketing campaign among our ten finalists.

It's easy to participate. First, view the finalists' campaign descriptions and creative artwork at www.nymarketing.org/news/news_full.cfm?ID=48. Next, text MOE2010 to 69302. When prompted, reply with the number of the campaign as listed on the website to cast your vote.

Voting will be open until 7:30 pm on October 6, 2010. Anyone is eligible to vote, so get your co-workers and marketing partners involved! You can only vote once and standard text messaging rates apply. The People's Choice Award winner will be announced at the 16th Annual Mark of Excellence Awards on October 6 at the Crown Plaza Albany.
