MOHU Returns for its Second Year

Press conference to announce the second annual festival

ALBANY, NY (09/14/2012)(readMedia)-- Please join us for a fun and lively press conference to announce the return of MOHU.

The MOHU festival returns for ten days this October, celebrating the arts throughout the greater Capital Region. Beginning Friday, October 5, more than 100 venues, artists, and arts organizations from all over Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, and Saratoga counties band together to display the strength and diversity of the cultural programming that makes this area so special. From performances to workshops, large ensembles to individual artists, and gallery openings to lectures, MOHU offers something for everyone.

This year points the spotlight on the various geographic hotspots that make up our region, with Monday, October 8 through Thursday, October 11 each being individually focused on one of the four different counties that make up MOHU. The beginning and closing weekends will feature a tantalizing course of events at venues both big and small. Preceding the festival will be a kick-off fundraising party on Thursday, October 4, with all proceeds going to support MOHU - and the festival wraps up with Drums Along The MOHU, which will culminate in a closing celebration at the Egg that is free and open to the public.
