"Marketing Health Care in an Evolutionary Time" March NYCRAMA Luncheon
ALBANY, NY (02/23/2011)(readMedia)-- The New York Capital Region chapter of the American Marketing Association (NYCRAMA) announces its March luncheon, "Marketing Health Care in an Evolutionary Time" with Elmer E. Streeter II of St. Peter's Health Care Services. As the director of corporate communications, Streeter will discuss his experience with marketing for health care organizations.
WHO: Elmer E. Streeter II, director of corporate communications for St. Peter's Health Care Services, will discuss his 33 years of experience with marketing, advertising, public relations and crisis communications in health care. During his 17-year employment with the Albany Medical Center Hospital, he oversaw the team that re-branded the hospital and medical school as "Albany Medical Center." Later in 1998, Streeter joined Mercycare, now called St. Peter's Health Care Services, as director of corporate communications. In the past thirteen years, he has helped change the public perception of St. Peter's from a small community hospital to one of upstate New York's premier health care systems. Streeter is also a co-founder, with WRGB/CBS 6, of "Melodies of Christmas," which has raised more than $6 million for child cancer programs and is a founding member of Albany's Ronald McDonald House. Streeter is a member of the Junior Achievement Board and chairman of the Tech Valley Business Hall of Fame committee.
