Meaghan Yolles Earns Academic Recognition at Skidmore College

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (07/22/2011)(readMedia)-- Meaghan Yolles, Class of 2013 at Skidmore College, earned honors for the spring semester. She is the daughter of Jeffrey Yolles and Sherry Robin of Santa Barbara.

Highest honors are awarded for a quality point ratio of 3.670 or more from a possible 4.0. Honors are awarded for a grade point ratio of 3.4 to 3.669.

Skidmore recognizes academic excellence in several ways. In addition to making the Dean's list (for achieving highest honors or honors), a student may be elected to the Periclean Honor Society, Skidmore's own academic honor society, or to the Skidmore chapter of Phi Beta Kappa.

Founded in 1903, Skidmore College is a coeducational, liberal arts college that enrolls approximately 2,400 students. The college grants both the bachelor of arts and the bachelor of science degree, as well as a master's degree in liberal studies.
