Million Dollar Round Table Foundation Awards Grant to Children & Families of Iowa

DES MOINES, IA (03/30/2010)(readMedia)-- Paul Jennings, from West Des Moines, secured a $3,000 grant from Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Foundation on behalf of Children & Families of Iowa.

Paul Jennings, of Financial Decisions Group and a MDRT member, is an active supporter of Children & Families of Iowa and nominated and endorsed the grant application. Children & Families of Iowa is a nonprofit organization that helps at-risk children and families learn to help themselves. The MDRT Foundation grant will support Children & Families of Iowa's elevate program. This program gives young people in the child welfare system a chance to be heard on important issues, a chance to affect legislation and assist other youth going through the system, and a chance to educate the community.

This year, the MDRT Foundation will award more than $1 million in grants to more than 100 charities. Representing the MDRT Foundation, Brian Miller, Rusty Hughell and Jennings presented this grant to Children & Families of Iowa on March 29, 2010.

The MDRT Foundation was created in 1959 to provide members with a means to give back to their communities. Since its inception, the Foundation has donated more than $23 million in 67 countries around the world and all 50 U.S. states. The majority of these funds were raised by MDRT members.
