Save the Date! Princess Party Benefitting Children & Families of Iowa
Princess Party will make dreams come true for children in need.
DES MOINES, IA (08/31/2010)(readMedia)-- Save the date! On Saturday, September 18, princesses from around the greater Des Moines area will gather at the Panera Princess Party, making dreams come true for hundreds of families in central Iowa.
The Princess Party, presented by Panera Bread will take place at the Jordan Creek Town Center food court from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Proceeds will benefit Children & Families of Iowa, whose mission is restoring hope, building futures and changing lives for Iowa's most vulnerable families.
This year is the second year Panera has hosted the Princess Party. "This event was a huge success last year. The food court was filled with little princesses of all ages enjoying their breakfast and princess activities," says Event Manager, Susan Joynt. "While this is a fun-filled event for little princesses to celebrate, some children just dream about a safe place to sleep at night. This event is a chance for families to help children who need a little hope in their lives."
Activities include an opportunity to meet six princesses-Belle, Cinderella, Snow White, Tinkerbell, Ariel and Jasmine, get autographs and take photos, create princess crafts, glamour makeovers, breakfast and games. After the party, princesses can gather for a special 10 a.m. screening of The Princess and the Frog at the Century 20 Jordan Creek Theatres. All the proceeds from the event will benefit Children & Families of Iowa.
Tickets are $25 for one adult and one child. Additional tickets can be purchased for $10 each; there is a limit of six people per party. Some activities, including the movie, glamour packages and photos with the princesses have an additional cost.
Tickets may be purchased online at www.cfiowa.org.
