Mobilization Ceremony for Peoria-Based Army Aviation Unit

PEORIA, IL (08/21/2017) (readMedia)-- The Peoria-based Company B, 238th Aviation Regiment of the Illinois Army National Guard will conduct a mobilization ceremony Aug. 24, at Army Aviation Support Facility 3 in Peoria, Illinois. The unit will train for a brief peiod at Fort Hood, Texas, prior to deploying to Afghanistan in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel for approximately nearly a year.
