Illinois Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Rim Zivalich of Montgomery, Illinois is applauded by her fellow Soldiers and their families after being awarded the Army Achievement Medal.

ELGIN, IL (09/21/2018) (readMedia)-- Illinois Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Rim Zivalich of Montgomery, Illinois, was awarded the Army Achievement Medal for exceptional performance while assigned to North Riverside's 3625th Component Repair Company, 405th Brigade Support Battalion.

The medal was awarded on Sept. 8 at the battalion's annual military ball at the Holiday Inn in Elgin, Illinois. Zivalich received the award for her exceptional performance as the company's supply sergeant, which resulted in the company winning the Illinois Army National Guard's Supply Excellence Award for training year 2018.
