WHAT: | • The Illinois National Guard has been a partner with Poland since 1993 as part of the State Partnership Program (SPP). The SPP focuses on sharing information and building relationships to promote world stability. • The international military leaders conducted site visits and met with emergency management officials in Chicago to discuss best-practices in preparation for the 2016 NATO Summit to be held in Warsaw, Poland. The Illinois National Guard supported the NATO Summit in Chicago in 2012. • Maj. Gen. Hayes and multinational military leaders will be available to media to discuss the SPP. |
