RALEIGH, NC (11/22/2010)(readMedia)-- A new Tactical Unmanned Aerial System (TUAS) support facility is scheduled to hold their groundbreaking ceremony tomorrow at the North Carolina National Guard's 139th Regiment (Combat Arms) headquarters building at 11 a.m. on Fort Bragg, N.C.
The North Carolina National Guard's Alpha Company, 30th Special Troops Battalion (military intelligence company), will utilize the new building for the operation of a new unmanned aerial vehicle unit. A facility to set up and operate the systems for training does not currently exist. This new site will save valuable training time for the unit personnel.
