NYCRAMA July Roundtable Announced - Sweet Success: Recipes for Marketing Your Small Business
ALBANY, NY (06/28/2012)(readMedia)-- The New York Capital Region chapter of the American Marketing Association (NYCRAMA) announces its July breakfast roundtable, " Sweet Success: Recipes for Marketing Your Small Business." Capital Region specialty food entrepreneurs, Tina Haas, the "Cupcakes On-the-Go" owner of Fluffalicious Bake Shoppe, and Katie Camarro and Jeff Shinaman of Greenfield's Greatest Food Company will share their favorite marketing tactics for generating the most ROI.
WHO: Tina Haas, owner of Fluffalicious Bake Shoppe, has been baking since she was a teenager. She was previously a schoolteacher working part-time at a bakery when she converted an old tool truck into a successful Albany-based mobile cupcake bakery. Fluffalicious offers a variety of cupcakes, specialty cakes and pastries, baked daily with flavors that change weekly. Tina has been featured in Hudson Valley Magazine and was recently named the #1 Cupcake Bakery in the Capital District by All Over Albany.
Katie Camarro is the Sweet Chief/CEO of Greenfield's Greatest Food Company, Inc., purveyors of Sundaes Best Hot Fudge Sauce. After spending ten years as a national sales manager for manufacturing companies, in 1995 Katie started her first successful business, Timber Springs Marketing and Sales Management. In 2001 she created Sundaes Best Hot Fudge Sauce a premium, hand crafted product based on her husband's, Jeff Shinaman's, 50+ year old family recipe. Camarro and Jeff peddle this sweet sauce nationally and internationally to specialty food stores, gift shops and a myriad of large and small retailers. Katie has been featured on The Food Network, and in Everyday with Rachel Ray Magazine, Where Women Cook. Jeff Shinaman is the Vice President of Membership and Marketing for the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce since 1999, and has helped grow the organization to more than 2,700 members.
