National Guard and Dept of Education partner to offer opportunities to high schoolers
Citizen Soldier Career Exposition
MONTGOMERY, AL (03/27/2017) (readMedia)-- The Alabama National Guard's 22nd Recruiting and Retention Battalion, in collaboration with Alabama Army National Guard units and the Alabama Department of Education, will conduct a Citizen Soldier Career Exposition in Dothan this week.
This will be a one-day event at Houston County Career Academy. The 22nd Recruiting and Retention Battalion recruiters will be present and local units will provide personnel and equipment to showcase their capabilities and answer any questions that students may have about the Soldiers' job.
Area high school students will attend the exposition to explore career opportunities in the Alabama Army National Guard. This event is not open to the general public and is only for the invited high school students in the area of each event and local city and government officials. We would like to take this opportunity to invite media outlets to attend and see what the Alabama National Guard has to offer. Please see the details below for the event on March 29.
